 学习、工作经历:

    廖玉才,博士,教授,博士生导师,麦类作物分子生物技术实验室主任,1983年获华中农业大学作物遗传育种专业硕士学位,1989年荷兰瓦赫宁根大学访问学者,1994年获德国亚琛大学分子遗传学博士学位;1995-1996年为该所博士后,1997年回国,1998-2002年到德国亚琛大学分子生物技术研究所或英国约翰英纳斯所开展合作科研。主要从事小麦与赤霉菌互作分子机理、小麦抗赤霉病遗传及其改良、镰刀菌毒素形成与控制分子机理、重组抗体分离与表达分析、植物生物反应器等研究。在《Nature Biotechnology》、《New Phytologist》、《Plant Biotechnology Journal》、《Analytical Chemistry》、《Journal of Proteome Research》、《Analytica Chimica Acta》、《Molecular Plant-Microbe Interaction》、《Fungal Genetics and Biology》、《Phytopathology》、《遗传学报》等国内外专业期刊发表论文100多篇,其中SCI刊源论文60多篇,已被引用1000多次;获省部级一等奖和三等奖各1项,指导的博士学位论文获湖北省优秀博士论文1次;获授权专利20项,申请专利7项,参编专著教材3部。现为《Journal of Phytopathology》、《Austin Biology》、《Global Journal of Biotechnology and Biomaterial Science》、《农业生物技术学报》、《麦类作物学报》和《农业科学》编委,湖北省新世纪高层次人才人选。近年来先后主持国家自然科学基金重点项目和面上项目﹑国家973和863项目﹑农业部948和转基因重大专项,以及中-欧、中-比、中-德、中-俄国际合作等多个项目。主要承担分子生物学、遗传学、植物生物技术和抗病育种教学。
